Stanford Baseball Rising Prospect Camp (HS Aged Players)

Stanford’s Rising Prospects camp is a great place for the up-coming high school baseball player to showcase his talents and improve their skills with the entire Stanford baseball coaching staff. The day will include specific position skill instruction, batting practice on the field, facilities tour, and controlled scrimmage on Sunken Diamond. 

The camp will be a one day camp that is open to any and entrants, limited only by grad year and the amount of total campers. (40 campers total and only for 2020,2021,2022, and 2023 grad years)

Date/Location: Saturday, August 17th @ Sunken Diamond, home of the Stanford Cardinal baseball team

Cost: $175

Age: 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 Grad Years Only

Number of Campers: 35

Gear: Please bring all gear needed to participate in skill instruction and a game. PLEASE BRING TURF/ATHLETIC SHOES, NO CLEATS IN THE CAGE AND WE WILL BE TAKING A FACILITES TOUR. 
Hat and shirt will be provided at registration that you have the option to wear. 

Extra: Parents, you are welcome to walk with your child on your facilities tour portion of camp. It will be around 1.5 mile loop around campus so please plan accordingly (i.e- water and shoes). We will provide pizza for lunch for the players. 

Parking: Parking is free outside of Sunken Diamond Stadium

Itinerary:
9:00am – Registration 
9:30am – Split into 2 teams/discuss camp 
10:00-11:10am – C/INF Facilities Tour and 2-way/Pitchers/OF – BP on the field and defensive instruction 
11:10-11:20 – Transition 
11:20-12:30pm – C/INF BP on the field and 2-way/Pitchers/OF – Facilities Tour
12:30-1:15 – Lunch Break 
1:15-4:30pm - Controlled Game – Team 1 vs Team 2 (10-12 inning game)
